Who can take the Round 1 quiz? | Any student in Indonesia in grades K-12 can join! We have different age groups: Group A (6-9 years old), Group B (10-12 years old), Group C (13-15 years old), and Group D (16-18 years old). |
How can I study for the quiz? | We have some great courses to help you get ready:
|
What kind of questions are on the quiz? | You'll see things like: True/False, Multiple Choice (sometimes with one right answer, sometimes with more than one!), Matching, and Fill-in-the-Blank. |
What subjects are covered? | The quiz is all about the basics of: Robotics, AI (Artificial Intelligence), IoT (Internet of Things), Computational Thinking (how to break down problems, find patterns, and design solutions), and Logical Reasoning (how to think clearly and solve problems). |
Do I lose points for wrong answers? | Nope! There's no penalty for guessing, so try to answer every question. |
What happens if my internet goes out while I'm taking the quiz? | Don't worry! Try to get back online as quickly as possible and log in again, making sure you are still within your timeslot. You will be able to continue taking the quiz again. |
What if the power goes out? | If the power goes out and you haven't clicked "Submit," your answers might not be saved. If you can, log back in quickly once the power is back on and continue the quiz as long as you are still within your registered time slot. If the time slot has passed, unfortunately, you won't be able to retake the quiz. |
What if I run out of time before I finish? | If time runs out, the system will automatically submit whatever answers you've completed. So, do your best to answer as many questions as you can! |
Can I take the quiz more than once? | No. Once you click "Submit," that's it! You only get one try for Round 1. |
Will I see how much time I have left? | Yes! There will be a timer on the screen showing you how much time is remaining. |
Do I have to answer the questions in order? | Nope! You can click on any question you want and go back and forth. You can change your answers as many times as you like before you click "Submit" or time runs out. |
Can I use a calculator/the internet/ask for help during the quiz? | No, Round 1 is meant to be taken individually. |
Can I take Round 1 quiz with a mobile phone? | Yes, you can, but we recommend you take the test on a laptop/PC for the best experience. |
Can I review my answer before submitting? | Yes, you can. Before pressing the submit button, you can review and edit your answer again. |
Will I know the results immediately after submitting? | No, the results won't be shown right away. We'll announce them after Round 1 ends. You can check the Contest Dashboard on the website, and we'll also send you an email, so keep an eye on your inbox! |
I didn't make it to Round 2. Can I still participate? | While you won't be able to compete in Round 2, we encourage you to keep learning! Use the experience from Round 1 to get better. Check the INRC website for other resources. And there's always next year! |
